Bienvenue!

Bonjour tout le monde! We have to start somewhere. Je m’appelle Julia. This is my place to record my adventures in the dolce vita, la vie en rose, to be put simply: the good life.

I am a young twenty something Yankee living as a fish out of water in the South. I crave salty summers sailing on Martha’s Vineyard, basking in the sun on the beach in St. Tropez, and wandering through the streets of Paris eating macaroons and emulating some pretty young thing out of a Dior ad.

For now, I am living in Charleston, a whimsical little city in South Carolina where I am racing to earn my degree and jump into the rest of my life with a splash. This blog is a delightful little space to give you, my dear reader, a taste of my musings, influences, inspirations and champagne soaked adventures (and a few misadventures in-between).
